Podium finish in FALS season opener

Making a last-minute decision, Myles Moos headed to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) on Saturday afternoon to pilot his Rilco Oils Inc. No. 84 Late Model for the track’s season opener. In a field of 26 cars, Moos outdueled Scott Schmitt in his heat race to pick up the eight-lap victory. Starting the $2,500-to-win FALS Cup opener on the pole, Myles led the majority of the race before fading back to third when the checkered flag flew. He trailed Tommy Sheppard Jr. and Mike Spatola to the checkers with McKay Wenger and Kevin Weaver rounding out the Top-5. (Brendon Bauman photo)
